Kids Pants DIY Kit Green
A handmade kit for organic cotton children’s pants with an easy fit.
The edges of the material offer a pleasant accent.
The dress can be put together easily by sewing the 7 pieces of single-breadth fabric together. The kit contains pre-cut pieces, so there is no need for scissor work. Using a sewing machine will make the work faster, but sewing by hand is also possible. Newcomers to needle work may also enjoy making the pants with their children. Any piece of cloth can be switched with other materials to bring a unique design to the finish, so customer’s can enjoy making it according to your child’s liking.
Easy to wash, dry, and even iron.
The finish of the material is weaved without any gluing and is gentle to the touch for comfort of wear.

How t
Check that all pieces of the kit are present. There should be six long strips and one small piece.
Stitch the long strips together as shown, leaving 4 cm at the top for the waist and 35 cm for the legs.
Cut the small piece into four triangles to make the gusset.
Join the short edges of triangles 1 and 2 together, then repeat for triangles 3 and 4.
Now join the long edges together to form a diamond shape.
Join the underneath of the diamond with the underneath of the leg piece as shown.
Repeat for the rear side of the pants.
Attach the side panels, then join the front and rear leg panels together.
The pants should look like two cylinders. Turn the pants inside out.
Make a triple hem at the waist and insert a strip of elastic (or stitch it to the fabric).
Finish the cuffs likewise with triple hems and elastic.
Note
• Finish rough edges with an overlocker or zigzag sewing machine to prevent fraying.
• The length can be adjusted to suit your child.
